Teaching through Bible stories, crafts, music, and memory work

Each class with a Children's Program has a trained Children's Director who leads a staff of teachers and helpers. They strive to offer a warm, loving environment permeated with God's love. All aspects of the two-hour program help the child grow and develop spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and socially while being taught about Jesus and His love. The program not only complements parents' efforts but also aids and encourages parents as they teach and live out God's truths. Although not all classes have every program, CBS has materials for all age groups. Nurseries with qualified sitters are available for infants. Some classes have mothers' groups where babies stay with their mothers in the Core Group. One-year-olds through teens receive instruction and materials suitable for their age group. The following programs are available but optional for each class. They are undertaken at the discretion of the individual class leadership depending on the need, and the availability of teachers and facilities.

• Nursery for infants
  Skilled, loving care
• Baby CBS for ages 12-24 months
  3-year curriculum, Old and New Testament
• Preschool CBS for 2 to 5 year olds
  3-year curriculum, Old and New Testament
• Young CBS for Grades 1-3
  Expanded preschool curriculum
• Primary CBS for Grades 1-3
  Modified adult curriculum, same course for parents/children
• Junior CBS for Grades 4-6
  Modified adult curriculum, same course for parents/children
• Teen Core Groups for Grades 7-12
  Uses condensed adult curriculum, same course as adults, part of an existing adult CBS class.
• Teen CBS (Grades 9-12)
  An independent program using a special version of the condensed adult curriculum.
