Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. Isaiah 59:1 NIV

Pray for the Lord to provide discernment and wisdom to the Assistant Day Directors as they shepherd Regional Directors in the US.

Please pray for Children & Youth Teachers to feel connected with one another, feel energized and supported in loving and teaching the children and youth. Pray for their passion to love and teach the children to increase as they serve.

Please pray that the Lord will continue to bless and guide the strategic planning project teams as they work on their projects this year.

Pray for God’s guidance and provision as the Greenwich, Connecticut day class plans their annual leadership council retreat.

Praise God for the newly restructured coed class, Roanoke Valley Evening in Virginia, and for God’s provision for all that they needed. Continue praying for His provision of an additional female core leader for their growing class.

Praise the Lord that a lady is feeling God’s call as the Teaching Director (and the Area Director agrees) to lead the Clarkston, Georgia Schools Initiative ASK class. Also, a ministry wants to partner with CBS to teach the children in the community about Jesus. There is much prayer about this unique opportunity to minister in a very culturally diverse area and it is exciting.

Please pray for the Teaching Director and the InPrison & Beyond class in Winfield Correctional Facility, Kansas.

Please pray for the National Leadership team in Peru as they respond to requests to start CBSI classes.

Praise God that half of the Matthew study has now been translated into the Swazi language in preparation for the ministry launching in Swaziland in early 2018.

Please pray for God to provide a new translator for CBSI materials in Hong Kong.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: PHILIPPINES

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
