Children & Youth

Community Bible Study strives to be a safe place where children and students of all ages, from babies through high school and college, can learn what it means to be loved by God and can develop their own relationship with Him!
For many age groups, CBS provides two kinds of ministry

  • dedicated, free standing Student classes [learn more]
  • groups that are hosted inside our daytime and evening adult classes [learn more]

A summary of each option and links to find more information are provided below. To find a CBS class near you, enter your zipcode in the “Find A Class” box on the right side of this page.

Babies to Preschool

Our Children’s Ministry programs are generally offered alongside adult CBS classes, because we want moms and dads to be able to study God’s Word too. Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, craft, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing place where children can grow and develop spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically and socially. We want your children to grow, just as Jesus “grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.” (Luke 2:52)

While our programs are available for all age groups, not all programs may be offered at every CBS class gathering. The programs offered at each location depend on the demographics of the children, the number of teachers serving in the class and the availability of facilities to accommodate the needs of the programs. These are an integral component of many of our adult classes. We use a modified version of the adult curriculum that parallels the adult study. The study consists of age-appropriate home study questions to answer, core group participation and a wrap-up talk, along with special projects and activities. [find out more]
