Who we are / study the bible
From young moms and housewives. From business people, professionals, tradespeople to students, or retired. We are just like you and your neighbors. We come from all of the Christian denominations, from no religious background, or from non-Christian faiths that simply want to study the Bible, which is the most widely published and studied book in the world.
Children & Youth – Students
Children and students also want to study the Bible. We offer a safe and loving environment for babies, Bible songs and stories for toddlers, and age appropriate materials for children starting at age two. School aged children typically study the same passages as the adults, allowing families to discuss the Bible together. Children and youth either study alongside an adult class or as a standalone Students class.
We have about 700 Bible study classes throughout the United States. Check out the Find My Class feature for Bible study classes near you.
CBS is also active in over 80 countries internationally. Locate class sites around the world.
We have study materials translated in over 50 languages. We have about 20 different Bible study courses in English covering the vast majority of the books of the Bible.
In the US, we offer a few special types of discussion groups to study the Bible, meeting the needs of unique parts of our society. These are:
- discussion groups in languages other than English for those who struggle understanding God’s truth in English
- discussion groups for mildly intellectually impaired adults with discussion questions developed for their capabilities
- discussion and socialization groups for young adults to meet the unique needs of the millennial generation
