MINISTRY WIDE DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING

They are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power and by your strong hand. O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name, and give success to your servant today, and grant him mercy…” For they all wanted to frighten us, thinking, “Their hands will drop from the work, and it will not be done.” But now, O God, strengthen my hands … Out of my distress I called on the Lord;  the Lord answered me and set me free … I have set the Lord always before me;  because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken … He alone is my rock and my salvation,  my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken …  Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.    Nehemiah 1:10-11a; Nehemiah 6:9; Psalm 118:5; Psalm 16:8; Psalm 62:2; 1 Corinthians 15:58

Dear Father, Community Bible Study is seeking Your guidance in the way that we should go.  We ask for faith, and endurance to both build and rebuild.  Will You strengthen us so that we abound in Your work?  Would you glorify Yourself through the work of our hands? We humble ourselves before You.  Show us Your will and Your way.  Grant us great faith for the great work ahead. In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
