MINISTRY WIDE DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING
I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through me … Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Dear Jesus,
Community Bible Study comes before You, through prayer and fasting, asking Your forgiveness for every time we have chosen to operate in our own strength. We have borne the weight of the burdens You have said we were never meant to carry. We repent of our pride and posture of self-sufficiency. Show us where we have gone astray and draw us back to You. With desperate gratitude we reach out again to take Your yoke upon us as we lay our burdens at Your feet. Thank you, precious and all-powerful Shepherd. We will watch expectantly for Your power to be perfected in our weakness as You use CBS to make disciples, in every community, around the world. Amen.
