MINISTRYWIDE DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING
Matt Crawford | October 3, 2024
The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, …
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.… But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Show us your steadfast love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation. Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land. Acts 17:24-27, Matt 7:7-8, Matt 6:33, Psalm 85:6-9
Our Lord, we humble ourselves before You on this day of prayer and fasting. By faith we seek Your wisdom as the ministry of Community Bible study takes Your Word to the nations: to those who need refreshing, those who hunger and thirst for truth and righteousness, and to those who have been cast aside and forgotten. Father, it is our desire that we would find those who are lost and need You and give them Your Word so they might be saved. Revive us again we pray. In Jesus’s name, amen.
