MINISTRYWIDE DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING
Matt Crawford | March 6, 2025
He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God, and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him prosper. (2 Chronicles 26:5)
He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. (2 Corinthians 1:10)
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)
But we will not boast beyond limits, but will boast only with regard to the area of influence God assigned to us, to reach even to you…. We do not boast beyond limit in the labors of others. But our hope is that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be greatly enlarged. (2 Corinthians10:13,15)
O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure. (Isaiah 25:1)
My sons, do not now be negligent, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him and to be his ministers and make offerings to him.” (2 Chronicles 29:11)
Father, in all humility we come before You on this day of prayer and fasting, to sit in Your presence and listen for Your voice. In Your grace and mercy, help us acknowledge the ways we have sought the things of this world and places where we have sought after empty things, so we may repent and return to You. As we labor in ministry, increase our faith and expand the areas where Community Bible Study has influence, so the world might know You through the study of Your Word. In the precious Name of Your Son, we pray ~ Amen.
