Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.  2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

Praise God for the successful launch of the CBS Adult ministry in a northern diocese of a major denomination in Zambia. Please pray as final preparations are being made to train Children & Youth leaders in this same diocese this month.

Praise God for a summer of refreshment and inspiration for the leaders in the Arizona/New Mexico Zone.

Praise God, with the Philly Metro Zone, for everything that is coming together for the CBS new year!

Praise God for His faithfulness to the West Texas Zone. Please pray the servant leaders will be strengthened with power through His Spirit through the study of Psalms as they serve in their specific roles and as a team.

Please pray that as CBS Canada classes return this September, Servants’ Teams will be committed and eager to fill leadership needs so that the next generation could be transformed by studying God’s word and abiding in His love (John 15:10-12).

Please pray that God would continue to lead and guide our leadership teams in the Georgia Zone as we seek to make in-depth Bible study available to all and to be a light in our communities.

Pray with the Philly Metro Zone that the words we speak in core groups, Leaders Councils, and Servants Team meetings may be “acceptable in Your sight, O Lord”.

Please pray for the upcoming Spoken CBS refresher training, which will be conducted face-to-face with the Spoken CBS coach this month in an unnamed country in the East Asia-Pacific Region. Pray for safe travels for all involved and for a fruitful time of learning, encouragement, and equipping.

Please pray that God would stir the hearts of His chosen servants to participate in the upcoming Spoken CBS workshop in Ecuador. Pray that the event will lead to many people studying God’s Word through this expression of CBS.

Please pray for the protection of the CBS leaders and participants in the many countries hostile to Christians. Ask God to strengthen them and encourage them to persevere in spite of persecution.
