MinistryWide Day of Prayer and Fasting

Matt Crawford | March 5, 2026

Ephesians 6:10-18
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints

Father,

Our hearts are heavy as we see the grip of evil on this world. We grieve for those who are oppressed and persecuted for Your Name’s sake. We mourn the destruction that sin brings, and we long for Your justice, protection, and peace to prevail.

Though the enemy seeks to resist and disrupt Your purposes, our hope remains anchored in You. We are deeply aware of the brokenness around us, yet we choose to trust in and depend upon Your mighty power.

Clothe us with the full armor of God, that we may stand firm against every scheme of the enemy. Fasten around us the belt of truth. Guard our hearts with the breastplate of righteousness. Fit our feet with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Raise in us the shield of faith to extinguish every flaming arrow of fear, doubt, and division. Protect our minds with the helmet of salvation, and place in our hands the sword of the Spirit – Your Living Word.

Teach us to stand firm and to always pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Make us alert, united, and steadfast in faithful intercession for one another.

Help us to stand – not in our own strength – but in Yours alone.
In Your Name – Amen
