Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish His work. Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. For here the saying holds true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.” … Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” John 4:34-38; 20:21

Father,
As Community Bible Study enters another season of ministry, we pray for a renewed calling and enthusiasm to study Your Word and share Your Truth with others. On this ministrywide day of prayer and fasting, we lift up those who are lost in this dry and weary land and ask that You would create in them a hunger and thirst for Your Word. We pray that You would cause many to seek You. We pray for our participation in this ministry to be used in the expansion of Your Kingdom.
In the precious Name of the One who saves us, Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
