When churches in Rwanda closed, believers in the country faced a challenge: how could followers of Jesus stay connected to God’s Word and to each other? God used Community Bible Study to answer this question. Families began gathering in home groups, reading Scripture together, and using CBS materials to guide their study.

This movement sparked something powerful. Parents taught their children the Bible. Communities met to share God’s Word, pray, and support one another. After studying together, they looked beyond themselves—helping families in need and strengthening bonds of care and compassion.
Reverend Adrian calls it a blessing: “Every Rwandan, every Christian in the Word of God.” CBS has turned homes into places of worship and fellowship, proving that even when church doors close, God’s Word opens hearts.
