Ministrywide Day of Prayer and Fasting
Matt Crawford | May 7, 2026
Psalm 46:1-2
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, remembering our brothers and sisters who suffer for the name of Jesus. Help us to be fervent in our intercession for them, lifting them to You in faith and love.
Lord, You see every injustice, every tear, and every whispered prayer. Be their refuge and strength. Strengthen those who are imprisoned, rejected, or harmed for their faith, and fill them with unwavering courage and Your perfect peace. Jesus, remind them they are never alone – let Your presence be near in prison cells, in hiding, in warzones, and in places where Your name is not welcome.
Father, give them endurance. Be their strength in weakness, their assurance in fear, and their hope in darkness. Let their faith shine brightly and draw others to You. We also pray for their persecutors – soften hearts, open eyes, and bring repentance.
Stir our hearts, Lord, and keep us from complacency. Move us to pray, give, and stand faithfully for those who cannot. Lord, we trust that You are building Your Church, and as You promised, “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). May Your name be glorified in every nation.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
