Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10 NIV

Note: Tomorrow is the ministry-wide day of prayer and fasting

Praise the Lord for the leaders in Community Bible Study who have worked hard to guide the ministry through these challenging times. Please pray that He continues to sustain and direct Kimm Carr, Executive Director, and all the faithful CBS leaders.

Praise God for the success of the CBSI UK Conference last month. Pray that all who attended would continue to be encouraged.

Please pray that the Parker County, Texas day class Servants Team will have God’s eyes to identify the new leaders that are needed for their class and may those they ask desire to serve.

Please pray for the comfort, peace and hope of Jesus Christ for all around the world as families and communities are affected by the coronavirus.  May we remember the promise of God in Isaiah 41:10-“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you,  I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Please pray for Children & Youth Directors and Servants Teams to have God’s wisdom and creativity to continue classes in online formats, for parents and students to be blessed and grow spiritually by studying together in this new format.

Please ask God to provide encouragement, guidance and fresh vision to the CBSI ministries in the Americas Region who have had to postpone leader trainings, class launchings, and ministry events due to the Coronavirus.

Please pray for Ethnos participants who have family in other countries affected by the Covid-19 virus. May they cast their anxiety on Christ and experience God’s peace that is beyond all understanding.

Please pray God’s protection over the health of the Sewickley, Pennsylvania After School Kids Student (ASK) class, especially the class Coordinator.

Please pray for all CBS class participants to find a way to stay in the Word and be connected to their CBS family.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: Burkina Faso

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
