MINISTRY WIDE DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING
“Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will let you hear my words.” So, I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was working at his wheel. And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter’s hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do … “Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots! Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no handles’? … Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts … Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain … “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert … forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Jeremiah 18:2-4; Isaiah 45:9; Zechariah 4:6; Psalms 127:1; Isaiah 43:18-19; Philippians 3:13b-14
Lord, we perceive the new things You are doing within Community Bible Study. Although we may sometimes long for the way things once were, we acknowledge that Your mighty hand is at work in the world and in Community Bible Study. You are in our midst and we praise You! Keep us looking forward and no longer desiring what you have removed. Remind us to trust in You and by Your Spirit enable us to run unhindered with the Word of Truth so lives might be transformed. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
Please pray for the CBS Leadership Trainings taking place around the world.
