Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10 NIV

Praise the Lord for the many and various ways Community Bible Study Ministry is helping support, encourage and equip leaders to finish the class year in the midst of challenges posed by the coronavirus.

Praise God for the CBSI leader training in Austria last month. Please pray for this ministry to grow and transform more lives through studying His Word.

Please pray for the global ministry of Community Bible Study. Pray for CBS leaders and participants to choose to obey God’s Word in Psalm 46:10 to “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”. Pray they choose to place their hope in Jesus and seek His wisdom and guidance as they monitor the effects of COVID-19 in their communities around the world.

Please pray for God to strengthen and grow the CBSI ministry in Cameroon.

Please pray for God to bless Children & Youth Directors and Children and Youth Leaders as they seek novel ways to continue their Children & Youth ministry online. Please pray that these resources would be shared with neighbors, friends and family and result in many others wanting to learn more about Him through Community Bible Study.

Please pray that God will bless the efforts of the CBS Leadership Trainers in order to make virtual leadership training possible beginning in May and that each Trainee will still experience the community and shepherding of CBS.

Please pray for the CBSI ministry in Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast) to grow.

Please pray that the Children & Youth Ministry Team would be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord their labor is not in vain.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: Cambodia

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
