Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10 NIV

Praise God for all CBS leaders and participants who are being stretched and learning new ways on how to stay connected and study God’s word together.  Pray that they shine like stars in the sky as they hold firmly to the Word of life. (Philippians 2:14-16)

Praise God for providing the CBSI ministry in Kenya with the ability to print quality lesson books that will keep all ages engaged in God’s Word.

Please pray for all CBS leaders and participants around the world as their lives and communities are affected by the coronavirus. Pray for all to remember that God in “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.” 2 Peter 1:3

Please pray for good virtual attendance and  for the technology to work smoothly at each of the 3 coed evening classes in the Dallas, Texas area and across the country, as classes finish up the year. Pray for class participants to be blessed as they take on the adventure of experiencing CBS virtually.

Please pray for wisdom for the YoungAdult Ministry Support Team as they continue to work on all YoungAdult Ministry resources.

Please pray for God’s provision as classes seek His guidance to fulfill Agape Ministry leadership roles for next year.

Please pray for the safety of CBS InPrison & Beyond participants from the spread of the coronavirus as they are not easily able to practice social distancing in their environment.  Pray for the safety of the facility staff that they will stay healthy and not pass the virus on to others in the facility.

Please pray for God to direct the International Ambassadors on how to pray for and connect with U.S. classes and their country contacts and leaders while they are unable to travel.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: Canada

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
