Consent for Use of Likeness or Image – Additional Information
When you give CBS your permission to use your photo/video, you have the right to obtain information from CBS about how we are using your image or likeness (“Right of Access”), you have the right withdraw your consent at any time (“Right of Withdrawal”) and you have the right to have all your images and likenesses that we possess erased or destroyed at any time (“Right of Erasure).
- Your story and image could be seen around the world at any time, including in your own community and country. Community Bible Study will own the copyright to these materials once we create them. Your photo/video could also be edited or shortened by Community Bible Study without your permission.
- If you wish, we can conceal your identity by hiding your face, not using your voice, not using your real name, or not revealing specific details of your story, such as dates or locations. If you would like this, please indicate your desired level of identity protection below.
- It is your right to decide not to be filmed/photographed or interviewed by Community Bible Study. There will be no disadvantages for you, your family or your community should you choose not to give us permission to use your likeness or image.
- You will not receive additional benefits or compensation as a result of sharing your story.
- If you would like to know what images/stories Community Bible Study possesses about you, or you no longer want Community Bible Study to use your image/story, you can contact us on the number/email provided below. However, while we can remove content that has already been published, we cannot guarantee that it has not been copied, retransmitted, or redistributed by third parties.
- If you believe we have not followed the protocols described in this document for use of your likeness or image, please notify us at the contact/email provided to you and we will investigate your complaint.
- The consent provided here is understood to have been freely issued, without coercion, undue influence, or mistake. Additionally, consent has been issued by the parent or parents exercising parental authority or guardian with the legal power to issue such authorization, when referring to individuals under age 18.
