December 5, 2018

We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer. Proverbs 16:1 NLT

Note: Tomorrow is the ministry-wide day of prayer and fasting

Pray for class members to catch the vision for the opportunity to support CBS and their Teaching Director by giving generously to the Teaching Directors Conference offering.

Please ask for God’s provision of an Associate Children and Youth Director and either an Assistant Coordinator or a Secretary to help with the leadership needs of the Wilmington, North Carolina Day Class.

The Athens, Georgia InPrison and Beyond class leaders are rejoicing in the inspiration they received at training in Colorado Springs. They are giving thanks for increased attendance.

Praise God for the many young adults around the US whose lives have been transformed by the Word of God because the God-breathed community the YoungAdult Teams are providing has drawn them into caring in-depth Bible study.

Please pray that God sends us the right core leaders for Auburn eTeen Student Outreach.

Please pray for continued wisdom and guidance for the new InPrison teams that are praying about starting in Bedford Hills and Ontario County New York, Jefferson City Missouri, Sterling Colorado, Florence South Carolina, Rutherfordton and Charlotte North Carolina, Phoenix Arizona, Bellville Texas and Lauderdale County Alabama.

Please pray for the leader trainings scheduled December 7-8 and 14-15 in Surinam, and ask God to give the National Director favor as he introduces other pastors to the CBSI ministry.

Please pray for the potential expansion of CBSI into a new denomination in Niger.

Please pray for health and strength for all the National Directors across the Europe Region. Praise God for the doors He is opening there.

Please pray for the Ambassadors to Moldova to have open doors to advance caring, in-depth Bible study there.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: New Zealand

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
