I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1 NKJV

Praise God for the successful translation of the Matthew study into Greek. Please pray that many classes will request this study.

Praise God for completing the Servants Team for the Middlebury, Vermont, Prayer Group in time for them to attend spring training and launch their class.  Please pray that God will make His presence strongly felt by all the new leaders/teams as they prepare for training, and that they will draw on His power and rest in Him knowing His plans will not be thwarted.

Praise God for the tremendous support that the local church leaders are providing to CBSI in Jamaica.

Praise God for the excitement and faithfulness in the Farmville, Virginia, Prayer Group.  Please pray for God to call more women to study His Word in this community.

Please praise the Lord for what He has done to guide the strategic planning efforts for CBS and pray that He will continue to reveal His will to the teams still working to prepare CBS for the future.

Please pray that the Lord will reveal His called Secretary/Treasurer to come alongside the Coordinator in the Skaneateles, New York, day class.

Please pray that God will call a new Children & Youth Director for the Edina, Minnesota, evening class.

Please pray for God to open hearts for the InPrison & Beyond ministry and lead the way to new opportunities for faithful and dedicated leadership teams across the country.

Please pray for the CBSI participants and leaders in Burkina Faso to keep their eyes focused on the Lord during this time of unrest.

Please pray for wisdom and strength for our National Director in Bulgaria.

Please join the Athens, Georgia, day class in praying that God’s called Children’s Teachers would feel His call deep in their hearts to serve the smallest sheep.  Please also pray
God’s strength and grace for the class’s existing teachers as they patiently wait and continue to serve with joy.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: Mozambique

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
