Global Leadership Forum

Registration opens on May 8. All invitees will receive an email with a personalized registration link and travel booking instructions. Please note: this invitation is intended solely for the individual who receives the registration email. Unless otherwise indicated, we are unable to accommodate spouses or guests.

Unless otherwise communicated, attendance at this event is limited to invited participants only, and we’re unable to accommodate additional guests.

GLF will be held at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, located at 3225 Broadmoor Valley Road in Colorado Springs. Surrounded by a sweeping mountainscape and picturesque views, rooms are arranged in eight residential lodges across the resort.  

Check back often for more travel information, including packing lists, ground transportation details, ways to prepare for the change in altitude, and more answers to your questions! 

CBS will cover airfare (or mileage reimbursement over 150 miles if driving to the Forum), lodging, ground transportation to/from the airport to the resort, and meals for each attendee. 

Air travel will be arranged through our travel partner, Direct Travel. After completing registration, a representative from Direct Travel will contact you to book your flights.

Flights arriving at Colorado Springs (COS) airport are encouraged, but Denver (DEN) arrivals can also be accommodated. Please note for International travel: due to the large number of International guests, and considerations such as insurance, costs, and visa requirements, all travel will be booked from each attendee’s city of residence to the Global Leadership Forum in Colorado Springs, USA, and back to their city of residence. 

Yes! There will be ground transportation service. More details to come as the date approaches. 

CBS will be covering airfare booked through Direct Travel, and they will be able to accommodate the addition of frequent flier numbers. CBS will not be processing expense reimbursements for air travel booked outside of Direct Travel. You can donate to the Global Leadership Forum using the Donate to the GLF button below.

For those traveling Internationally, details and help regarding visas were shared via email with your Regional Administrator. In addition, you can visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas.html for more information about International travel to the United States and what is required.

CBS is committed to offering linguistic hospitality during the Forum. During registration, attendees will be asked to indicate their preferred language to help provide appropriate translation services.

CBS wants every attendee to feel welcome and comfortable throughout their time in Colorado Springs. As you complete the registration form, you can specify if you have any mobility needs, dietary restrictions, medical concerns, or other special requirements. We will do everything we can to ensure a positive and comfortable experience.

Tuesday, November 11:

• Global Servants Team & Regional Servants Teams arrive and begin with dinner.

Wednesday, November 12:

• Regional Servants Teams Meetings (breakfast & lunch provided)
• Key Regional Leaders and International Ambassadors join Regional Servants Teams and begin with dinner.

Thursday, November 13:

• Regional Leadership Meetings (breakfast & lunch provided)
• Global Leadership Forum begins with dinner.

Friday, November 14:

• Global Leadership Forum (all meals provided)

Saturday, November 15:

• Global Leadership Forum (breakfast & lunch provided)
• 50th Anniversary Dinner Celebration (event will be livestreamed)

Sunday, November 16:

• The Global Leadership Forum concludes at noon (breakfast and box lunch provided)

Yes! To include the entire CBS global family, we will livestream and record the special anniversary celebration on Saturday evening. The recorded event will be made available to CBS leaders globally to accommodate different time zones and internet access. Additional details will be shared as the date approaches.

We hope all invited leaders can attend, and we encourage you to prioritize participation. If you cannot attend the full event, we ask that you discuss partial attendance with your Regional Director for approval. If you are unable to attend, we ask that you let us know through the registration email or by emailing glfsupport@communitybiblestudy.org so that we may release your spot to a leader on the waitlist.

Prayer is the greatest need. Please pray for every aspect of this event—from logistics and planning to the safe travels of all global leaders. Pray for wisdom and guidance for our leadership team as they steward this gathering and seek to honor God’s vision for CBS.

Lord, we ask for Your hand to be upon all travel arrangements—especially for our other global leaders. Make the way smooth for them; may visas be approved, flights be timely, and transitions be seamless.

Prepare our hearts, Father. Give us a spirit of humility and unity, that we may come together with open minds and willing hearts to collaborate and understand one another deeply.

May there be great joy and anticipation as we prepare to gather as one global family. We look forward to how you will fill the space with the sweet presence of Your Spirit.
