The meaning of the CBS “Double Fish”

Our double fish are intertwined, joined together as one. The represent our inseparable relationship with God and our unity with one another as His people. This symbol illustrates our connections as fellow believers grafted into the body of Christ (Romans 11:17). Once we receive salvation, we are always saved (John 10:27-39) and united with God (John 14:20). One fish is clearly in front, representing God who through love, grace and mercy always leads us toward Himself (2 Corinthians 2:14).

CBS Is a Thriving Global Ministry

Did you know that Community Bible Study (CBS) has classes in 121 countries? Hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children study the Bible in CBS classes around the world each week using CBS studies translated into their own heart language. The goal of the global ministry of CBS is to start thriving, nationally led CBS ministries in each country.
Many of our studies are in areas where it is unsafe or even difficult to gather to study the Bible. CBS classes around the world might not look the same as your class, but they share the same essential elements and the vision to see lives transformed by the Word of God. Do you want to join us?
