As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Psalm 42:1 NIV

Please pray for wisdom for the leaders of Community Bible Study.

The Between the Lakes Day Class Prayer Group in Romulus, New York asks that the Lord will show us, lead us and connect us to members of many different churches in our community so that we can be a more diverse body, that He will grow us in numbers and in wisdom, and that He will point to His chosen Servants Team leaders in ways that are unmistakable and clear.

Pray for the Christ following young adults who have friends who need CBS Bible study and community to draw them to the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Pray that their friends will visit one of the next monthly social events as a half step toward in-depth Bible study.

Please pray with thanksgiving to God as He has called a new Teaching Director and Associate Teaching Director for the InPrison team serving at Dallas Correctional Facility in North Carolina.

Please pray for the CBSI leaders traveling from around the globe to the Teaching Directors Conference next week.

Praise God that the UK conference is now fully booked.

Please pray for the International Ambassadors planning trips to find inexpensive, convenient flights and to be able to schedule meeting with appropriate contacts.

CBSI Canada is praising God for all the leaders who have been diligently serving their class members.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: Sri Lanka

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
