The Alexandria Virginia Day Class thanks God for the recommitment of their Servants Team and prays for a hedge of protection over the homes of their leaders and Servants team.

The Dallas Central Texas Class is praising God for the Associate Teaching Director candidate that will be going to training in the Spring, while also praising Him for a potential class coordinator candidate that is praying about the role. Please pray for the Servants Team and other members in the Leaders Council as they help in this transition while continuing to pray for God to raise up a YoungAdult Director.

Please pray for growth for the Sacramento, California Evening class.  Please pray that the Lord will bring young and younger people who want to study His Word as the class is aging.

Please pray for God to grant peace to those who are incarcerated and away from their families, especially during the holiday season. Pray for families to be unified and for strong bonds of community to form around those who are released back into society.

Please pray for CBSI Burundi ministry leaders to have God’s vision as they develop ministry plans for 2019.

Please pray as 1,000 young people gather for an event in a South Asian country where the CBSI ministry will be presented.

Please ask God to help the team in eSwatini make wise choices regarding their time, finances and relationships.

Please pray for the team in Costa Rica as they schedule leader trainings for spring.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: South Korea

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
