Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 NKJV

Alternate Voluntary Day of Prayer & Fasting

Pray that the Lord will affirm His call on class leaders to serve in their roles for the 2018 – 2019 class year.

Praise God for the Area Directors who shepherd the Eastern A region with upright hearts and skillful hands. Pray that they continue to fix their eyes on our Great Shepherd and may His joy be their strength as they oversee their flock.

Please pray and praise God with us, as we are so thankful for the Austin, Texas Student CBS Classes. Lord, please continue to show Yourself mightily in these classes.

Please pray for the administration and chaplain at Lee Arrendaale Women’s Prison in Georgia. May they be open to starting an InPrison class.

Please pray for the planning of CBSI leader training in Ecuador in early 2018.

Please pray for a new CBS group starting on January 9 in Belgium.

Please pray for the National Servants Team in Madagascar to be filled with wisdom and passion for God’s Word as they lead.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: LITHUANIA

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
