I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 ESV

Praise God for the faithfulness and diligence of our CBSI Mozambique National Coordinators in continuing to stay connected with denominational and class leaders during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Please pray that every Impact Group in the United States would be shepherded by a faithful and prayerful U.S. Ambassador to guide them through the new Impact Group process to become a new CBS class.

Please pray for the growth and encouragement of new online CBSI groups in Serbia.

Please pray for the Lord to bless each CBS Children & Youth Director with peace as they trust in Him, and may they seek first the kingdom of God in their planning for next year. Pray that the Lord would meet the needs for each CBS class and Children & Youth program with an abundance of leaders and teachers to serve in the upcoming year.

Please pray for the CBSI leaders in an unnamed Central Asian country who have brought pastors from different denominations together to study Christian Leadership.

Please pray for the Lord’s blessing and guidance as the ministry leaders for Community Bible Study seek to follow God’s direction.

Please pray for communities where fear and uncertainty about the future is keeping participants from registering for a CBS class in the fall. Pray for class leaders to have wisdom and creativity from God as they seek new ways to share the love and peace of Christ and His Word in their communities.

Please join the Milford, Connecticut day class in praising God for identifying a new Coordinator candidate.  Pray for God to equip her and provide resources so she can assume the new role responsibilities and attend the fall training.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: Singapore

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
