WELCOME

With more than three decades of history, the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region enjoys CBS ministry in 26 countries, with courses in Spanish, English, Portuguese, Creole and Dutch. Lives have been transformed in the classes with children, youth, adults, entire families, the oral community and in the same way in those who are imprisoned.

As a non-denominational Christian ministry, the intention of Community Bible Study Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is to serve and complement local churches and ministries by providing curriculum and training leaders.

We aspire to have classes that are healthy and prosperous; and countries with national leadership.

ESSENTIALS

Community Bible Study’s TEACHING METHOD CONSISTS OF FIVE ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

Individual Study: Life transformation occurs when each person relates to God individually through His Word.

Small Group Participation: By considering Bible passages in the safe environment of a small group, each participant gets additional insights from others, increasing their confidence in personal study of the Word.

Effective Teaching: Teachers emphasize and illustrate the central idea of the Bible passage studied in each lesson, as well as its practical application to each person’s life.

Insightful Commentary: Put together by respected theologians, this Bible commentary helps participants understand the historical context of the passage studied in each lesson and how it relates to the rest of Scripture.

Community of Love: Leaders who love the group pray for participants and encourage them to grow spiritually and connect with one another into a loving and caring community.
