As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Psalm 42:1 NIV

Please join the new Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina day class in praising God for raising up a Servants Team for them to start their CBS class in the fall. Pray for the Lord to give them wisdom about operating on a one day class schedule.

Praise God for the successful CBSI leader training in Nicaragua. Please pray for these leaders to start strong Adult and Children & Youth classes.

Praise God for the heavy rain revival that’s beginning in the northeastern United States with growing classes, remote core groups being added, new classes being birthed and lives being transformed through the study of God’s Word.

Please join the InPrison & Beyond Ministry leaders in praying for all participants. Because of Covid-19, leaders and visitors are not allowed into the facilities. Pray that the participants continue to meet for Bible study if they are allowed, and that they remain faithful in clinging tightly to the Lord in this time of great loneliness.

Please join the Santa Monica, California day class in praying for God to provide an additional Children’s Teacher and may more people in their community desire to study God’s Word.

Please pray that students across the United States will have the opportunity to hear and experience God’s love and freedom. Please also pray that they will rest and enjoy the guidance that come from digging into God’s Word.

Please pray that the National Children & Youth Ministry Team would be equipped for every good work.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: Belarus

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
