Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10 NIV

Praise God for the successful pilot of CBSI studies in an unnamed Central Asia country.

Praise God for calling and equipping a CBSI leadership team Coordinator in Serbia.

Praise God for raising up a new Associate Teaching Director and a Children & Youth Director for the Coppell, Texas evening class.

Please pray for the global ministry of Community Bible Study. May our CBS leaders and participants choose God’s Word in Psalm 46:10 to “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”. May they place their hope in Jesus and seek His wisdom and guidance as they monitor the effects of COVID-19 in their communities around the world.

Please pray for Children & Youth Directors to equip themselves with God’s Word so they can equip every Children & Youth Teacher.

Please pray for the Lord to strengthen and encourage the Manchester, New Hampshire day class in building an administrative team and filling leadership positions with His called leaders for next year.

Please pray for the wisdom from James 3:17—“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere”—for the Executive Director of Community Bible Study.

Please pray for Ethnos core group leaders. Pray for their spiritual discernment as they shepherd many women who are new to Bible study, for unity and growth in their core groups, and the Lord’s blessing in their personal lives.

Please pray for class participants to clearly see Jesus in the study of His Word and be open to hearing the personal applications that God is showing them in their lessons.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in 14 undisclosed countries around the world.

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
