The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. Psalm 34:15 NKJV

Please pray for the Lord to bring more Children and Youth Leaders to our classes to allow for team teaching and to make room for those on the wait list.

Please pray for God to provide enthusiastic facilitators, welcoming locations and spiritually thirsty participants to study God’s Amazing Book this summer.

Please pray for God’s provision of a new host church for the McKinney Allen, Texas day class.

Please pray for creativity for YoungAdult Gathering Facilitators and YoungAdult Teams as they continue to reach out to young people in their communities this summer through fun and welcoming social events.

Please pray for the Lord to identify two women’s core group leaders for the Albuquerque eve, New Mexico class and to identify His called leaders to fill core group leadership roles in the Parker eve, Colorado class.

Please pray for the AGAPE curriculum team as they continue to work hard to provide excellent resources.

Please pray for the InPrison and Beyond team at the Goodman Correctional Institute in South Carolina. They especially ask for prayer for the health of the team carrying out God’s work and for a new chaplain at the prison.

Please pray as the Clarkston, Michigan Evening Prayer Group hosts a God’s Amazing Book study this summer. Pray this study sparks interest in studying God’s Word in their community. Please also pray for God’s called individual for the Teaching Director role, and for perfect scheduling of the If You Will Pray study.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
