MINISTRY WIDE DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING

Jacquie Parker | May 5, 2022

O my God, incline your ear and hear. Open your eyes and see our desolations, and the city that is called by your name. For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercy … I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?” He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand … O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me. But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me. O Israel, hope in the Lord   from this time forth and forevermore.  Daniel 9:18, 12:8-10; Psalm 131

O Sovereign Lord, as Community Bible Study pauses today to fast and pray, we desire an ever-increasing understanding of Your Word as we patiently wait for Your return. We desire to walk with You in patterned, faith-driven obedience. Give us ears to hear and a willing spirit to act as You direct. We ask Your forgiveness for our corporate and individual sin. Hear the prayer of Your people, as we humble ourselves at the altar of Your forgiveness where Your arms are open wide.  In Jesus’s Name, Amen
