My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work. John 4:34 ESV

Note: Tomorrow is the ministry-wide day of prayer and fasting

Praise God for opening doors so leaders from 60 churches in Egypt can attend leaders workshops over the next several months. These leaders will serve 11,000 Children & Youth, and 8,000 young adults.

Praise the Lord that all the leaders in the Indio La Quinta, California, day class have settled into their roles and that they had a refreshing gathering for their Fall retreat. Please pray that the leaders would serve as a united team and support each other.

Praise God for growth in Hong Kong City. Including one Children & Youth class and 8 English-speaking core groups.

Please pray that leaders and Servants Teams will see their sheep as Jesus does and know it is He who equips them to shepherd and love those in their groups.

Please pray for God to open doors for CBSI in El Salvador that would allow orphans and those in government facilities and church schools to study God’s Word.

Please pray for effective translations of CBS materials and lessons into Lingala in preparation for the launch in the western part of the Democratic Republic of Congo in January

Please pray for God to reveal His chosen Teaching Director for the San Fernando Valley, California, day class.

Please pray for the St. Louis, Missouri, women’s evening class to have a wonderful Leaders Council retreat November 8-9. May the Lord equip each person on the Servants Team as they present, keep them healthy, draw them closer to Christ and in turn with one another. Please also lift up the health of the teaching director.

Please pray for the Ethnos ESL (English as a Second Language) core leaders as they extend themselves in helping participants to understand English in their study of God’s word.

Please pray that God will call an Associate Teaching Director, additional leaders and students to the Colorado Springs, Colorado, Teen class.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: Tanzania

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
