I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 ESV

Please join the Southern Chester County, Pennsylvania, day class in praising God for answered prayer in His abundant provision of children’s leaders, core leaders, women and children this fall with rooms filled with many new faces.  Pray that all who study Isaiah with us will deepen their relationship with Jesus as we learn more about Him and the truth that His Grace wins.

Praise God for His provision of two wonderful worship leaders for the Kalamazoo, Michigan, evening, women’s class and for blessing the Teaching Director with improved health. Pray for additional core leaders to be called by God to support the blessing of these new participants.

Please pray for unity among the leaders in Cote d’Ivoire.

Please pray for every new young adult visitor who has been and will be drawn into a YoungAdult core group this year. May they experience the love of God and genuine friendship from the YoungAdult core leaders and the Christ following nucleus of the core group.

Please pray for the CBSI team preparing to serve at the Eastern European Leadership Forum this November in Kiev.

Please pray for wardens, chaplains, guards and counselors who work in prisons and jails throughout the country. Pray for the Lord’s hand of wisdom and provision for the appointed leaders and staff at these facilities.

Praise God for the translation of the Matthew and Daniel studies into Hebrew beginning in January 2020.

Please pray for the CBS ministry in the country of the day: Portugal

Why Pray?

Prayer is the first CBS core value. We pray because:
- God tells us to pray
- Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus
- God responds to our prayers

CBS leaders frequently pray using the A.C.T.S. acrostic:
- Adoration or Praise
- Confession of Our Sins
- Thanksgiving for God's grace, mercy, and provision
- Supplication or Petition for our and others needs
