Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven … Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.” … And at the seventh time he said, “Behold, a little cloud like a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” … Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Heavenly Father, we are mindful today that prayer is the greater work that You’ve called us to do. Community Bible Study desires to serve You according to Your plans and purposes. We give ourselves to You today, in prayer and fasting, to pray as Jesus taught us, wanting only for Your kingdom to come, and for Your will to be done, on earth as it is in heaven. We humbly and expectantly ask for Your knowledge and wisdom as we press into the vision and mission You have given CBS to see lives transformed through the study of Your Word and to make disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study available to all. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. ~ Amen
